TC Construction was selected from the City of San Diego Emergency Services list to perform repairs to a failed storm drain that created a dangerous sinkhole. The sinkhole was located between residential homes on a very steep slope. Our team performed engineering, design, and construction services.

The project required:

• Alternate alignments
• Storm drain bypassing and relocation
• Earthwork, slope repair, slope stabilization, shoring
• Asphalt paving
• Concrete structures
• Hydroseeding, irrigation, revegetation
• Abandonment of the failed storm drain system
