In the late 1800’s a 15-year-old master stonemason, William Cameron, immigrated to the United States from Scotland. He eventually settled in Santee, CA to work in a blue granite stone quarry and literally carved out a life for future generations of the Cameron family. The corporate headquarters for TC Construction Co., Inc. are built on this land that has been home to the Cameron family for over 120 years.
Upon returning from their service during World War II in the late 1940’s, William Cameron’s sons, John and William, started Cameron Brothers Construction Co., Inc.
Terry Cameron, John’s son, grew up working for Cameron Brothers Construction Co. and in 1977 founded TC Construction Co., Inc.
Terry’s son Austin, who was born the year TC Construction was formed, is now the company president. Austin served as the 2023 president of the AGC San Diego Chapter.
TC Construction is a civil engineering contractor, primarily specializing in utility infrastructure, mechanical facilities, and asphalt paving.
Currently, TC Construction employs over 200 people. The company’s expertise in both public and private sectors, combined with carefully planned diversification of services, has contributed to increasing growth and profitability in changing economic environments.
TC Construction performs work throughout Southern California, principally in San Diego, Imperial and Riverside Counties.
Today, we continue the tradition of building on a solid foundation of hard work, perseverance, and continuous innovation.
