One Paseo is a mixed use development located on a 23 acre parcel in Del Mar, CA. The development include retail shops, restaurants, offices and luxury apartments. Contracted through the Whiting Turner Company, TC Construction installed 4,200 linear feet of sewer main, 7,100 linear feet of various sizes of storm drain, and approximately 8,000 linear feet of domestic and fire water main. Water conveyance within the tight confines of the site required three large Storm Trap units to be installed for water run-off retention. One of the Storm Trap units, installed at the corner of Del Mar Heights Rd & El Camino Real, was constructed 34 feet below finish grade. This depth of installation required engineered shoring plans that utilized a slide rail shoring system.
