In November, we held a Field Lunch for our crew at the La Jolla Improvements 1 project site. This event allows management to provide an onsite lunch as a way of showing appreciation for the commitment and hard work of our outstanding employees. We extend our gratitude to our talented operators, laborers, pipelayers, truck drivers, and mechanics, along with Foreman Carlos Rodriguez and Superintendent Rocky Anderson, for their continued dedication.
This project includes water main replacement, asphalt repairs, and roadway resurfacing in both North Park and La Jolla. In La Jolla specifically, the work involves replacing a water main originally installed in 1970. To reduce traffic impacts, a portion of the new water main will be installed using a trenchless method, with crews boring horizontally underneath the high-traffic La Jolla Parkway / Ardath Road.
