Description

The Harmony Grove Water Reclamation Plant was built to provide 0.5 MGD sewer treatment capacity for the Harmony Grove Village development in the County of San Diego. The sewage treatment plant includes a headworks screen followed by an activated sludge secondary process. Tertiary treatment consists of deep bed gravity filtration, followed by chlorination. The treatment plant has an aerated digester and solids dewatering process. Tertiary effluent is pumped into the Rincon Del Diablo Municipal Water District recycled water distribution system. Off-quality storage and wet weather storage are provided on the treatment plant site to comply with requirements of Title 22, California Department of Public Health and the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board. The treatment plant is equipped with a diesel engine emergency power generator.
