TC was contracted by Padre Dam Municipal Water District to reline an existing 2.6 MG underground reservoir and build a new 3.24 MGD water pump station to support community demands in the Alpine community of San Diego County. The project required demolition of the existing reservoir cover, columns, concrete stair cases, inlet and outlet piping, and ultimate removal of the existing lift station.

New installation consisted of repairing damage to the existing reservoir concrete, new concrete columns, stair cases, and inlet and outlet piping to the new pump station. A Hypalon liner and aluminum geodesic cover were installed to complete the reservoir rehabilitation. Due to the terrain, the new lift station required a large retaining wall to be installed as a common wall. Excavation, grading and shoring were required to complete the site wall and pump station foundation. Site work also consisted of a new concrete driveway and storm drain improvements. The new lift station housed 3 new 100HP vertical turbine pumps, a 300KW backup generator, air compressor and surge tank, new electrical and telemetry, and associated piping.
