Scope of Work

  • Installation of two 66" jack and bore tunnels for the relocation of the Alvarado Trunk Sewer Main

Unique Aspects

  • The project was located in a residential neighborhood and in an environmentally sensitive area
  • The project required archeological, palentological, and biological monitoring as well as noise monitoring and mitigation
  • Installed two large redundant bypass setups which were hardlined and ran 24 hours per day
  • The project also required extensive groundwater dewatering as we traversed directly adjacent to and crossed underneath the Alvarado Creek twice
